The surroundings of Lisianski Inlet Lodge. The lodge is located 70 miles northwest of Sitka, 80 miles southwest of Juneau and just two miles from the Commercial fishing town of Pelican. Guests usually access Pelican by float plane from Juneau. You will be amazed at the vastness and pristine old growth forest when you arrive by your forty-five minute flight aboard a float plane.

Pelican, accessible by a short boat ride from the lodge, is a boardwalk town built on stilts above the water. The mainstay of the town is commercial fishing. Pelican's claim to fame has always been, "closest to the fish". The lodge is also located close to the borders of the Glacier Bay National Park and holds a concessions permit to operate inside park boundaries.

Even closer is the West Chichagof-Yakobi Wilderness Area, a large stretch of coastline and mountain ranges that has been set aside for many years as a designated US forest Service Wilderness Area. As you can imagine the wilderness around the lodge holds a lot of wildlife and many beautiful places. For things to do in Alaska visit Alaska Activities.

What our customers say:

For people who want their Alaska fishing "vacation" to be other than endless hours of " pounding the water" a trip to Denny and Jana Corbin's Lisianski Lodge is definitely for you! Denny is an experienced and accomplished fisherman and tour guide host, and Jana is the perfect cook and hostess. We've been to Sitka; we've been to Kodiak; we've been to Gustavus. The only place we've been back to is the Lisianski Lodge!

A trip to Pelican's Lisianski Lodge is affordable, it'll provide you with fish that overflows the freezer, AND, you'll experience some of Southeastern Alaska 's other best features: scenery, wildlife, and, if you choose, a little outdoor exercise. There's no comparison.
